I love that mat! I don’t know why I didn’t remember it. I think I’ll make my own, I’ll paint it on the floor of our patio. Then when I need to jump and I’ll say, “Hold on a second while I step outside…”

OK I see you’ve removed the link to this blog from LWB. I guess I should remove it from my blogroll? I was only kidding about the Meez, although the way her fingers disappear into the keyboard is also a little creepy but hey, it’s not like I don’t know how good looking you are in real life … I am at a loss for words. I’ve never witnessed the death of a blog before. I’m getting verklempt.

No, I’m not deleting this blog, I’m just going to focus on posting at Life With Buck. But I’m thinking that removing the link from LWB was a mistake, because I’ve had some reaction to it. I guess I’ll put the link back up with an explanation? But I want the explanation to be simple, like “Other, Older Posts” or something like that. Whatever I put up will be confusing, I’m sure.

i have two blogs and i’ve no idea why i do.
Well, no. i do. i wanted one for my flash fiction, which i’ve totally slacked on, and one that was just life, though much happens.

i miss my flash fiction and may get back to it so i haven’t deleted it yet.

I wouldn’t delete your flash fiction blog. You never know when the mood will strike and you’ll want to post on it. I’m not deleting this one, I’m just going to focus my posts on the other one. I originally started this one for posts about things other than Buck. But most things involve Buck in some way or another, so I’m going to post all my new posts over there from now on.

I like both your blogs too Wendy, but it’s like LM says, I like reading anything that you write.

I have to admit that I was a little surprised when you started your second blog, and wondered how you could find the time. I don’t put a whole lot of blood sweat or tears into my single blog, only posting when I get the “itch”, but between keeping that going and trying to post “enthusiastic” commentary on the bloggefreundens’ posts I spend way too many hours on the interweb. But I still like doing it and so will continue.

“Like hanging out with friends” is a nice way of picturing the blogosphere. It’s still very cool to me that there can be this connection between random people from all around the world.

It’s cool that folks are reading your older LWB posts isn’t it? You have some l gems there! If you wanted to close up shop over here that’s OK. Your shorter form posts are (were) fun too. But if you closed up LWB it would be a big loss. You. Must. Keep. Blogging. Wendy. Puhleeeeezzzzz?? We missed you a lot when you had the flu last winter! However, no pressure, no worries. This is strictly an entertainment. A luxury.

Your meez here with the skull kerchief was really beginning to creep me out anyway. She blinks too much.

Well thank you, David, for your very thoughtful comment. Buck has NEVER understood why I would start a second blog. But that’s my style, learning everything the hard way. I’m not going to stop blogging — if I did that I’ve no contact with human beings at all — but I can’t handle two blogs, reading others blogs, working, and writing. It’s just too much, so I think I’ll just focus on LWB and continue my ranting over there.
It’s ironic that my Meez is creeping you out because I don’t like it, either. I went to the Meez site to make a new one and decided I didn’t like any of them. Joan and Little Miss have cool ones, but I can’t seem to make one I like. So fuck it, I’ll leave it over here on this blog.

I only have the one blog where I post everything. You’re right it takes up so much time but I have plenty of that. I feel it’s my blog and I can write whatever I want whether it be about arthritis, silly crap, the family or whatever. People can read a particular post or not. I know I could not handle two blogs. Personally, I think you should concentrate on the Life With Buck blog even if what you write doesn’t directly have to do with Buck. Though I’m always up for a laugh at Buck’s expense. It’s sort of how I write about the crazy shit Barry does. That’s just my personal opinion. You have to do what you feel is right for you but I think it would be less stressful dealing with only one blog. You also have Battlestar Gallactica to watch which is another series I missed and want to get into. You don’t want to spread yourself out to thin.

It is fun laughing at Buck’s expense, isn’t it? I love laughing at Barry’s expense, too. But like you, I laugh at myself, so I guess it all comes out in the wash. Whatever the hell that means. But with the two blogs not only do I neglect LWB but I don’t get to read nearly as many blogs as I want to, or even keep up with my comments. It’s like I signed up for a French class at CCCC and now I don’t want to go. I’ll probably focus on LWB, but change the format a little so I can still rant on a daily basis like I do here.

I have four blogs. Ugh. One is business. That will stay separate. I don’t want to mix my personal stuff there, too much. I have my “sewing” blog, but it really is my main one. I post about weight loss, kids, family, whatever, there. Then I have the one for my fibro. I hardly post there, and I started it so I would have an outlet for what I was going through, and figured pretty much that my sewing readers really don’t care about my health issues. And then there’s my blog365 blog. I rarely post there and have almost zero readers. I use it to post really random crap, like about homeowners associations, or to rant about nothing and everything. I don’t know if mixing them all together, in my case, would be a good idea or not. Maybe I’ll just copy you when you decide.

I subscribe to both your blogs so it doesn’t matter to me which one you write on. I read and love them both. And I too am a stats whore. I just wish I knew how to get those stats like one million hits, or even 100,000.

Happy 4th! I’m skipping it because I have to write copy for a website.

Ugh, I just realized I didn’t comment here and I think it’s because we were talking via email and I somehow confused myself and thought I’d answered. Anyway…thank you for your kind words. In your case I think the multiple blogs make sense, although the combination of them all on one blog (like the Miller Family) seems really fantasic if you’re organized. And I think you are very organized.
