Thoughts-0-Dave’s David (who totally grossed me out today by posting a truly vile photo of I-don’t-know-what) said over on Romi’s blog that brooches were only worn by teachers who wear them on their school-issued sweaters. Well I’m here to disagree. I’m sorry David, but your are incorrect. As you all know I am totally not a teacher and I have many, many brooches. I wear them with everything: T-shirts, denim jackets, my bathrobe, and on baseball caps. Occasionally I’ll wear five or six at one time simply because I’m cool like that. Or think I am, anyway. Of course there are those who may think I’m simply a crazy old lady, but to them I say: SUCK. IT.
OF COURSE!! Why am I NOT surprised? Well, Wendy, if there’s anyone in the whole universe that could make brooch-wearing cool, it would have to be you.
So, like, where’s your OCTOPUS brooch?
Oh, I mean you and ROMI.

I have brooches, many of them. But I don’t know how to wear them any more. I never wear scarves, don’t know how to put them on a jacket. I need a lesson in coolness, please. I’m serious.

Wow, that whole box of brooches gets me seriously excited about all the men I could score, and the thought of THAT gets me even more seriously excited (in that “wrong” inappropriate way, hahaha

Hey – this whole brooch thing could end up being a meme. Everyone show a picture of your brooches. I think you should start it, Wendy – since I think you must have the biggest collection. But I have a few interesting ones.
